For six years I’ve made my living by creating unique experiences for clients, companies, family, friends and sometimes just me. I love what I do, and I try to do it a lot, like working for non-profits like East Somerville Main Streets and creating illustrated posters for the arts. My work isn’t only graphic and digital arts but extends to event coordination, organizational branding, and media promotion. One of my strongest skills is getting things done well.

What I love to make the most is artwork around storytelling. My interests in bringing a story to life and focusing on local culture is what makes me an effective media communicator. My work has remained with clients like the City of Somerville, Cambridge-based startup TrumpIt, and the Boston Dyke March.

I grew up in upstate New York in a suburban town and carried a sketch pad with me everywhere I went. My interests were often replicating everything I saw and trying to capture a moment. I studied design at Alfred University with the intent on becoming an illustrator but fell in love with design. The schools philosophy mixed with the kinship of my peers positively effected my arts education and I owe much of my success to it.

I have taught classes in WordPress web design, served on the Board of Directors for SCATV, worked as a filmmaker on a National Endowment of the Arts grant, served as a web consultant on several projects, and given advice to young designers over coffee.

Recently someone shared with me that they recommended me by saying.

“She is a great designer… plus she has infectious positive energy.”
