Ohello Boston
Boston is Beautiful
The Boston Landmark series was made when I was asked to teach a “Drink and Draw” class by Zone 3 Western Ave. I decided to teach the class around my new found love for Posca markers. The decision to draw landmarks came from my desire to create New Yorker-style magazine covers. The work is influenced by flat blocks of color often seen in Japanese illustration, such as Hiroshige. The places I choose in Boston are personal to me and reflect my love of the community and city. I have begun to extend this series outside of the initial Boston artwork to Somerville, Allston, and Savannah, GA.
In 2024 I began Ohello Boston, a small business working to sell my artwork wholesale to small retailers around Boston. See all my work and what I sell by visiting https://ohelloboston.com/
